When it looked like impossible to go anywhere for the long weekend (I mean finding a cottage or campsite last minute) I got a message from Mel. She invited me and Liz to go to Richard's cottage. I took up on this offer, packed the car and took off.
And what can I say, it was worth every minute of it. Nice lake, cozy little cottage, fun people and ugly mosquitos.
It rained a bit on Saturday night, but Sunday and Monday we got all the nice weather we could ask for.
I managed to get away with only a few mosquito bites, even those I got while I was putting the stuff back into the car.
Well that's it for now. I'm not in a big writting mood today.
