So here is the situation. I would love to go back home this summer, visit family and all, but it won't happen. Due to the loss of a great co-worker, and the amount of work coming up, I didn't even dare to ask for 4 weeks vacation. I could have, but for sure it would have been declined. On the other hand, I would love to go next year, because I would have my 10 year high-school reunion, which I definitelly want to attend.
So I decided to just take my 2 weeks vacation and go somewhere in Europe (of course family back home won't know about it). Destination? Sweden. Sweden? Yes, Sweden. WHy? Because I know some people there, so I will not have to pay for hotel and food. Beside it, I never been there, so it's a good oportunity. Beside it, the city I'm visiting is very close to Copenhagen, so this way I can visit Denmark too.
Now the only thing I have left to do is to get my passport and buy my tickets. I got tops a month do do all that. Well the ticket would be easy, one phone call thing, but the passport is more time consuming.
