It's Sysadmin Appreciation Day!!
Even though it's still far away (well not that far) it is something sad that I have realized. I was looking through my parents' stuff and came across their wedding ring. The date imprinted was Aug 22 1978. My father passed away on Aug 22 1991. Is this coincidence or what?
I never knew that my handbreak is not working 100%. I took my car to my cousin to check out my breaks cuz they were (and still are) screeching. When we checked it, everything was ok. He told me that the break pads are cheap and that's why it screeches. So I said fine. I'll bare with the screaching untill it needs to be changed. Anyhow, he said lets check out the back tires as well. He asked me to pull the handbreak (or emergency break, whatever you want to call it). So I did but my right tire was still moving. I mean without any effort you can move it. Took it apart and found out that one important component was rusted and couldn't move. After the little fix everything was working like a charm.
If I would have noticed this when I bought the car I could have even sue the dealer or get his licence away. There wasn't a proper fuckin' safety test done on my car!!

I guess is time for me to enter something in this blog.
I had the best 4 days in a very very very long time, not including the little airport issue.
So I get to Pearson at 6:10am on Friday morning. My flight was leaving at 7am. I ask one of the ladies which line should I be standing in. She shows me this huge line full of asian people. I look up to the monitors and see "Air Canada International". I told her that can't be right, cuz I'm flying only to Calgary. She assures me that it is the right line. So I'm standing there in that line. After 25 minutes she walks by and asks me what time is my flight. I told her it's 7am. She pulles me out and takes me to the desk (i guess I was kinda late to hand in my bags). The tell me my flight is closed. ??? I have no clue what the hell does that mean. So anyways, they get some supervisor there, he does some shit on the computer and then he tells me to hurry, and tells one of the ladies to make sure my luggage gets on the plane. I get my bording pass, run to the plane get on and I'm off to Calgary. At arrival I go to get my luggage, but it's nowhere to be found. My cousins and I go to Air Canada's office to claim a missing bag. The guy takes all the info and tells us to wait, cuz there are 2 more plains coming in. So basically after 2 hours of waiting I get my luggage. I can't believe it that it took them 3 fuckin' flights to get my stuff here.
Well finally having everything at hand we had off to Panorama. 4 and a half hours of drive, long but much worth it.
The view was magnificent. 360 degrees all I could see is mountains. Some still had snow on top.
I tried to make as many pictures as possible about the suroundings, but not sure how they came out. Didn't upload anything to the net.
The same day we arrived we went swimming. Well wasn't really swimming more like soaking in the warm water, and after that in the hut tub. Saturday 2 of my cousins, my other cousin's husband and I went wild water rafting. It was a blast. The water was ice cold but was worth it. Sunday went horse back ridding. I actully sat on a horse called Pat. He was a clumsy horse. Kept on tripping on the rocks. I was a bit scared, cuz we were up on the mountain, going on very narrow pathways.
Monday morning after checkout we headed to Lake Louise. Another beautiful place. Imagine seeing a lake surounded by mountains and right in front a huge glaciar. I seriously felt like in heaven.
Well shortly this was my trip. I'm just waiting for friday to go to the Stampede. Laters...
