bah. merry xmas to all.. i guess.
this season has always pissed me off more than not, but i guess some good times were had.
got clothes to last me the next year, so that's a bonus.
also got me a new pair of boots, so i can retire the old 2nd-feet boots that i've been so attached to for the last 3years or so.
it was their time to step down i suppose. i could have sworn there was something living in em ever since they joined me for my romp thru some cambodian swampland. the fact that they kept my feetses from stepping on, and concurrently getting all blowed up by one of the many landmines that litter the cambodian countryside, is exactly why it's good to retire them before they die..
it's all about RESPECT folks.
this way, they can be with me for the rest of my life.

*note to any current friends who may still be my friends when i die:
please get those boots on me before they chuck me in the incinerat0r. unless ofcourse, i have kids by some strange chance. in which case, they are to be burdened with the 'haunted boots', which are to be tied to a working ceiling fan that is in plain view at all times.
nothing more creepy than a dead guys old boots flappin around off the ceiling..

speaking of creepy.. i treated myself to a private screening of 'big fish' last week. it's a pretty good flick if one can put aside the desire to pick apart a movie and just watch it for the story it tells. but who in their right minds would bother picking apart a burton flick anyways??!
you don't know.. and i don't want to know.
it's unusual, that's for sure.. imaginative, original, whimsical would also be words i'd use to describe it.
some very odd personal connections were there, but of those, here i will speak of not.
i don't know if it was the toast talking, but the flick was also quite emotional. i don't really get moved my many movies (unlike a certain mexicant we know of who sobbed at the outcome of 'armageddon'), but this movie did move me.
armageddon? are you fukin kidding me??!
but i digress.
big fish, mycophile gives it 3 thumbs up.
oh yea, that's freakin right, i've got 3 thumbs..
deal with it.

love,
.myc
