Last years golf tournament was my first time golfing, this being my second time I must say I did a lot better. I brought my iPod with the MM50 speakers, and I must say having a soundtrack most definitely helped. Picture if you will me rolling up over the hill to the first hole with Ol' Dirt Bastard's Shimmy Shimmy blaring, truly a most majestic entry to a golf tournament if ever there was one. If polo is the sport of kings then surely, this was also a good from an Ol' Dirty Bastard perspective.
My partner this year was Lisa, whom made less puns during the day than my partner last year, the Zapper. I did give her a heart attack more than once while driving the golf cart. At one point we were blazing down a hill which still had wet grass from some rain early in the day, I slammed on the breaks did and did an elaborate 1270° spin (maybe not that big, but still it was spinny). At some other point in the trip I veered off the road after loosing control of the cart, she got hit by some tree branches, and I believe she hit me for that, good times, good times.
Back to the golf. I made maybe three good drives that went anywhere near the green, which I was quite impressed with. Plus I ended up losing only 4 balls. Last year I lost 6, if this is any indication of my improved skills, next year I'll only be losing 2!
