Before the birthday last night, went out for dinner to a European Restaurant in the Bloor West Village, where I had what is known as a "Schnitzel". I had never seen let alone eaten, a "Schnitzel" before, but after a favourable description of the food by my dining companion I thought it sounded interesting so I decided to get adventurous with my eating and opted to try it instead of the safe and well explored Chicken Parmesan.
I must say the recommendation to try it was spot on, as this Schnitzel was tasty and insanely filling. I only managed to get through half the Schnitzel which was mocked by said dinning companion, who finished all of hers. But in my defence hers was a tiny ass Schnitzel where as mine took up an ENTIRE plate! If I finished the whole thing I'm sure a Cardiopulmonary bypass would have been required.
So to wrap this up, Schnitzel's are tasty.
