The exact details I'm not clear on, but from my understanding Declans family owns what once use to be a summer camp on Lake Simcoe. The piece of land consists of 3 cottages on 8 acres of land over looking the west shore of Lake Simcoe, in a little town called Beaverton. Regardless of it's back story, the place was gorgeous and we had a blast. We drove up there Friday night after work and came back on Sunday night.
I picked up a helpful bit of information which I'll share for the sake of anyone that is planning to go into the "outdoors" this summer season. Apparently just because it's a breezy cool day, it doesn't mean that sun screen is not required if your going to be hanging out by the water all day (learnt that the hard way the next morning!).
I'm not much for writing today, so I'll let my photos do the talking.
