Meat encounter the first; I had some moose sausage, no that's not an innuendo, I literally had moose meat, this guy brought some into work today. Apparently someone hit a moose, and then they turned it into moose sausage. That BTW is the first time I've strayed from farm animals, it was odd.

Meat encounter the second; After work I met up with Seaturtle out in Burlington because she lives there, and I work next door in Oakville. She told me about a big organic grocery store out there, because she knew I was looking for one to purchase some Goji berries. So we went to this place and it was awesome! From everything we checked out the prices were quite low and competitive with regular grocery prices, but with organic quality goodness.
At the meats and poultry counter, they had a bunch of sample platters up with various barbecued meats which were delicious, without all the chemicals they taste so much better. A while ago Mycophile had served us some tasty organic meats and these were just as good as I remembered those being. So I picked some up, along with some organic milk, which I was also quite glad to find, because ever since I saw The Corparation and all the horrible things they do to dairy cows in order to increase their milk output, I've been weary of lactose products. I also found my Goji berries so I was pleased, it was a good hippy outing.
