Movie: Stick It

Seeing as how this movie was brought to us by the same team responsible for Bring It On, it was really a no brainer of a choice to see it. However, Stick It is not so much a movie as a place where beautiful dreams go to flourish. For those not in the know, this movie is in escence a tale of perseverance, girls in leotards, team spirit, girls in leotards, the human struggle to overcome adversity, girls in leotards, and girls in leotards.

My only complaint with the whole thing was at one point when Wei Wei pulled out her iPod mini to play some inspiring Come Baby Come by K7. When the camera zoomed in on the iPods screen they showed the interface for an iPod colour! That's right an iPod colour display on an iPod mini! The whole thing was ludicrous, after investing 105 minutes of my life into these characters and the situation they are in, it is incredibly jarring to be pulled out of that world of fantasy by something as silly as a technical inaccuracy. But solely on the amount of times "the horns" were thrown out during this movie, I can totally over look that short coming.

To wrap this up I'll just say, please bring on the Directors Cut of this inspiring film. BUNG!
In all honesty though, it's a chick flick people, avoid it if you are adverse to flicks of a chicky nature.
