I did not know much about this movie going in, it turned out to be quite enjoyable though.
It takes place during this Norse/viking time period, and tells a story of the legendary Beowulf in search of a troll that's been attacking a Dane settlement.

This was a Canadian production, and I thought was filmed here, but it turns out that it's Greenland that served as the backdrop for the film. Which once again reminds me of the fact that I really need to travel there one day, because the locations are really breath taking.

I really don't have much more to say at this time, except that Grendel's mom scarred me (I may have nightmares).
