This is a small project that I began working on at the start of the year. I have waited this long to unveil it because, well frankly, I didn't know if I was going to be able to keep up with it. Now that we're a few months into the new year, and I've seen that I can maintain the site, I feel comfortable in making a public announcement.

So without further ado, I introduce you to 52 Photos. A simple little site with a simple little mission statement: One year, one photo per week, 52 photos.


I created the site because I wanted to have something that would encouraged me to produce at least one good photo a week. This project has forced me to start taking my camera everywhere, and has forced me to start taking a lot more photos. This obsessive photo snapping has been annoying some friends, but nuts to them, the proof is in the pudding. There's already some nice photos on there, hopefully as the project progresses the photos will get better.
