For those of you expecting a Chappelle comedy, with him doing stand-up well this is not quite that. It is more of a concert flick. He throws a big party in Brooklyn, has a bunch of singers come down, and he runs around the whole movie, being funny as is his nature. But don't be mistaken the movie is about the music.
On that note I'd like to say, I enjoyed it. On another note I'd like to say, god damn, could Kweli sneak into any more songs? He was figuratively in like 20 different peoples songs, literally maybe 4, but figuratively like 20!
I mean sure, I expected some Blackstar action since Mos Def was in the house. But this guy was all over peoples tracks. Get High with Kanye was dope, so you know, I'm not complaining, I'm just pointing that out.
