Yesterday afternoon my trusty ol' computer mouse of 7 years died.
I have fond memories of that sweet thing. It had three, yes THREE functional buttons, which was unheard of at the time. I needed the three buttons for Softimage, and recall having a heck of a time finding a mouse that fit the bill. Eventually I came across a Logitech Mouseman that ran me $79, but it was well worth it.
Today I bought it's replacement, another Logitech. The MX1000 Laser. It cost as much as a DVD Dual Layer burner but if it lasts nearly as long as the last mouse, then it was a worthy investment.
