Being slightly hungry today, me Chris a Gigli decided to take a drive out to Milton to get some nice tasty McDonalds. Why drive 30min out of the city to get McDonalds you ask? Because they make their fries with LOVE and it shows damn it!! Once we we're full of fries and double quarterpounders, we turned around and drove 30min back to Toronto... Okay so we didn't really drive out to Milton just for the fries, although they were quite good. No, the original purpose was to hit the snow park at Glen Eden. You know grind some rails, ride the pipe... <insert more mildly homo-erotic terms that mean to snowboard around a snow park> But alas, winter gleaming was DENIED, the damn place closed at 5!! Their stupid website said till 10, but those ski patrol guys obviously play by their own rules and don't adhere to preconceived notions of "time" and "operating hours". So with our gleam hopes dashed we headed back to Tonroto, but not without first dropping off at Mavis and the 401, for some... you all know where I'm going with this... that's right Krispy Kreme.

Full of glazing and fried dough our spirits we're once again lifted, Gil even got some free hot chocolate, so I suppose you could say she was doubly lifted in spirts(but I won't say it because it sounds stupid). So after the doughnuts we went to the ass crack of ski hills, Centenial (yay) the runs were short and boring and we only had an hour to ride before they closed, so not much fun was had. Despite the small, dinkyness of the hill I still managed to hurt myself, and by that I mean I smashed my tailbone, smashed it pretty hard. What happend was that while bombing down the hill I tried doing a switch on some slightly icy terrain. So in hindsight it was a really stupid move on my part. Anyways, off to recuperate and hopefully next week we can go back to Horseshoe and get some real gleaming happening. Now I'm off to soak in the hot tub and hope my ass heals.
