Congratulations boys, according to this report, published by the U.S. Justice Department: More than 5.6 million u.s. residents have served or are serving time in state or federal prisons. That gives the U.S. the highest incarceration level in the world.

Somehow the richest nation in the world having the highest incarceration rate seems comical to me. Well comical isn't the right word but it's the only one that comes to mind.
