Well where to begin , I went out to Velvet but it was full of nons (1 beer 2 shots). So we went to Neutral, the crowd was much better and I had 2 beers and 2 more shots. so I was buzzing then, I went to an after in the basement of some place and it was huge like the size of three of the lunchroom at work. (For those that do not work with me it is a little bigger then the ground floor lobby of the Paramount downtown. So I had 2 or 3 more beers (lost count) I was just hanging around listening to some live band that wasn't too bad, though the music in between sets was good, so I danced. Next thing I knew people were leaving and I asked someone the time and they said 10 to 7. This shocked me and I decided to go home. Believe it or not (some of you got a call or two) That is where my night really got started. I was walking home along College St. and heard INXS, I looked at the Parliament Building and they were setting up for Canada Day ( Happy Birthday).I thought to myself that I should tell them to play Canadian music for the sound check as an Australian Band won't celebrate Canada Day. So I stuck around from like 7:30 to 1:10 pm. I tried to help out and got water for a couple of old ladies. I could not come up with a good fake name so I sail Niall Smith. He of course was not on the list, so I said I would meet my friend Steve Tran(don't know where that came from) who signed us up outside and beat a haste retreat. I hung out backstage and most of the people there thought I was part of the staff (LOL) I called a lot of people as I was kind of bored, I just really want to get on stage and say Happy Birthday Canada in the mic, but I settled for some free water bottles instead. Around 1 pm one of the security guards came and asked me what I was doing. I said "Celebrating Canada Day" he asked me a few more questions including "are you drunk?" and I told him he should have seen me a few hours ago and I was stone sober by this point. I decided then and they after he walked away that I needed to go home. There is much more to this but I will not put in test format, if you want more details check the other blogs and talk to me or someone I called, I am sure they will having something funny or mean to say.
