So I lost 17 gigs of mp3s…I can get them back…I lost a bunch of saved games…I can play again. I didn't lose my pictures some of which I couldn't get again so all in all not so bad.

The only think I need to do now is find out why my 80 gig drive will not so up in windows. When I boot into partition magic it shows up as unknown disk type and cannot be formatted or changed in anyway. The bios should the drive correctly but windows will not assign it a letter. Grrrrrrrrr. I want the 80 gigs back. Ohh well I go a nice clean machine to play with again and fill up with crap.

I got Xp to install on another HD but It looks like everything is gone on the scondary drive or it's just not reading correctly. I know you are all on the edge of your seats.

another update to follow....

I thought a good deed would bring some good karma, but my main machine is now dead. All I did was turn it off, unplug it and remove the power cable. I fixed my friends machine then reconnected my computer and poof. XP would only go as far as “windows is starting…” and then sit there for more than an hour. So I tried the usual troubleshooting and then tried to reinstall XP and it keeps getting stuck during the install.
I am hoping it is not the power supply or motherboard. The c:\ drive is about 3 yrs old so I am hoping it is failing and today when I switch the drives around I can then install on one of my newer drives. I need to get this working so I can find a job. This sucks….

Well, had my first jaorb interview last week and I thought it went well. They had other ideas, called me on Friday and said they were going with someone else. :(

My X has started calling me, wonder what she wants or is up too? I have about 2 months to find a jaorb then, I start selling shit, begging and borrowing to keep up with rent and shit. I think the first thing to go will be my laptop. Its a P3 1.2 Dell and should get me one extra month worth of rent. I never thought when I bought it might be used for rent money. I am not going to get too down, try not to think that far ahead, send out resumes and find something before then.

The place I worked for before this SUCKED but I got paid to do very little and just had to put up with crap. I can't believe I am saying this but it was sweet with the exception of it's god forsaken location. I hope to find something much closer on the subway line if at all possible.

Had such a hang over yesterday...slept until 5 or so, I was going to go to the Desert Combat thingy that Doug was putting on but could not get my ass up. Ended up meeting a bunch of old friends Saturday night and drank too, too much. It was cool because they all bought me drinks as I was the only unemployed one. Hope to party with them again soon...I will take it much easier next time.....this week is the Dark rave on Saturday....should be fun :))
