I have been trying to get a regexp working for the past few days. In my efforts... and desperation, I decided to download an app from Shareaza. I knew it woud have a virus, but I figured I could clean it up pretty easily... I was wrong. This sucker did some damage.
The virus...
- Loaded my HD with a ton of shit
- Made it run slow as shit
- Faked all my NT system files
- Killed my boot record
- Downgraded my Windows Installer
This was the first time I've ever had a virus that did any damage. I can see how these dumbass people pay so much to have their computers fixed, cuz I knew what I was getting into opening an .exe file from the net. They do it and don't realize all the shit that's going down.
Lemme tell you though, Windows Defender is a damn good program. It fixed most of the problems in a few minutes. Thumbs up MS.
After all of this, I finally figured out the problem with the regexp. The SpamAssassin rule I was creating should have been a rawbody, not a regular body. Otherwise, the regexp was perfectly fine.
Go me! Now those fucking spam messages don't have a chance. Keep changing the image douchbags, it will do you no good. I've one-upped you this time.
