Poke as much fun as you wish when you say that I live in the boonies, or in the middle of nowhere. At this time of year, all of you would pay to trade places with me.

When I opened my car door tonight, all I could hear were the singing of frogs. It was so loud that I couldn't hear my dog walking up to me, or the clicking of my car after it shuts off. The person on the other end of my phone call could hear them perfectly.

Having a pond in my front and back yards, I am surrounded by the sound... and lemme tell ya, I wouldn't give up that sound for anything. As strange as it seems, that sound always puts a smile on my face.

When I walked in the house, my mother and I shared a smile, all thanks to the frogs. :)


...you know, cuz I was visiting my parents for the night ;)
