Today I have a working broadband connection at home. It's a blazing 256k / 256k connection. The entire office uses 512k, so 256k for personal use seems fine.
Next, I'm gonna get an IP Phone and be able to make local calls as if I was at home. It will ease the pain. Plus the calls will be unlimited time... or until the power cuts out again :)
