I bought and set to charge a new UPS. This way I will have two running at the same time. Now, instead of 50min of backup time, I'll have oodles of backup time for these random power outages!!
It finally gives me an excuse to install that 40gig HD I've had here forever but been unwilling to interrupt my 146 days and counting uptime.
Then... while checking my email and wondering how a virus message came through to my inbox, I discovered that my Anti-Virus log wasn't rotating and the log file simply said that it had reached the maximum allowed size. A quick edit to the clamav.conf then syslog.conf and logrotate.d/syslog had me working fine.
Then... while restarting the Anti-Virus software, I noticed it was out of date. So a quick download, some compiling and a debug had me working fine.
Then... I realized that the message didn't travel through my mail server and THAT'S the reason the virus wasn't captured and removed.
Now that's what I call a sticky situation!!
