Ever since the knee surgery I've slowly been getting myself back in shape with high impact upper body weight lifting and very low impact workouts on my legs.
...then today, I look in the mirror and realize that I haven't been this 'in shape' since I hurt my shoulders playing hockey almost 3 years ago. I've even gone down to the 3rd notch on my belt.
When you are unable to use your arms at a high impact, it's amazing how weak they can become. Still to this date, my left Posterior Deltoid and Lateral Deltoid muscles burn as I workout because they have gone so long without any real strain. I had nursed them for so long because that's right in the area that I had the shoulder surgery.
All that I'm waiting for is the swelling in my knee to go down, so I can get back to playing hockey and burn off all this excess baby fat... which will also help build up the cardio that I'm so desperately needing.
