Everything is working excellent.
SpamAssassin has never been better, and Amavis-New is working like a charm.

Personally, I think the best part is the IMAP. I can't figure out why it keeps logging errors, but it APPEARS to be working fine, so I think I'm just gonna disable the logging instead.

All you have to do is drag your 'Untagged Spam' or improperly tagged email to the 'Not Spam' folder and every 12 hours the server will update its tokens and delete the mail from the IMAP folders.

It's like the girlfriend I never had. Always lets me play whenever I want. Let's me fix a few things here, improve on others there.... and it even hums me to sleep at night.
If this server could make me breakfast in bed, I'd be set!!

I can't believe my nephew is already 1 year(s) old.

When I turned 1, my parents (or uncle) got me a Winnie the Pooh bear. I did EVERYTHING with that guy. Winnie could take an elbow from the top rope and a drop kick like no other friend.

The one (sorta) downside, is that Winnie made me develop a crutch. A need to have something in my arms when I slept or I just couldn't fall asleep. I plan to do the same to my nephew.

Winnie is going to be his best friend, and my nephew will forever raise is fist to me over his life-long dependence for something in his arms while he sleeps.

It's gonna be great!!

what's up with that?

Today I had the 3rd and hopefully last surgery on my left knee. My knee is absolutely killing me. If I don't move at all, it's almost bareable. Any subtle or slight movement sends stabbing pain. I tried standing after I had slept for a few hours and I was sweating and almost threw up. I was totally dehydrated.

For those unaware, I had the two staples removed that were left from the original surgery 9 years ago. Now I have a very deep bone bruise and a freshly stitched reopened scar.

I woke up after the surgery and the Dr. gave me the hardware removed. The staples are HUGE. When I can eventually walk over to the scanner, I'm gonna scan these suckers and add them into this blog post so you can see.

I'm gonna be in India for 5 weeks, so I'm gonna see if I can set the world record for hours on a plane, and try to fly from India to Australia for 2 weeks. Problem... I can't seem to find any connecting flights between India and Australia, so I'm forced to go to a travel agency. That trip would get me back home around May.

I know what you're thinking, "but your ex-fiance will be there with her douchebag boyfriend"... worry not however, I am long over her. I think I'd be more nervous seeing her daughter again than I would seeing her. That's where the real emotional attachment lays.

Did my usual Saturday routine... be woken up by someone at work then slowly drag my ass to the computer to see why I was yet again bothered on a weekend... and I noticed that the web server was totally fubar'd. Turning the monitor on I saw thousands of DMA errors. So I wasted almost all day trying to get the thing to function normally.

While that was happening, instead of surfing for pr0n like a good nerd should, I decided to get that damn snow mobile working. I spent ALL day getting the damn thing to start. Having to bypass the fuel filter and modifing the hoses to do whatever I could to get the air out of the fuel line.

IT FINALLY STARTED then stalled 10 seconds later and wouldn't start again no matter what I did. It has to be the carburetor because there are so few parts to this engine that it can't be anything but a 27 year non-serviced carb causing the problem.

Then (just prior to writing this blog) I perform some self diagnosis and conclude that I have a weak right eye. Even up close the right eye isn't as good as the left. I had been to the Dr. the other day and could read the 20/20 vision chart beyond 20ft, but only with the left eye. The right eye could only read about half of that.

Could that be the reason why my head goes all funky on me and I get these strange perception issues.... who knows?? Sounds quite likely since one eye is so much better than the other.

Optometrist, here I come!!

After a wee bit of mod_rewriting, he's feeling the effects.
