I was watching Sportsnet just a few minutes ago and caught the tail end of a special on John Cerutti. The screen said '1960 - 2004' but I thought nothing of it. Apparently he died in his hotel room at the Skydome. He didn't show up for the morning meeting and didn't show up for the broadcast of the final Jay's game this afternoon. They finally decided to go into this room and found him there without vital signs.
John Cerutti, dead at the age of 44 from natural causes.
My question to that is, what are natural causes when you're only 44 years of age?
Imagine having to be the guy who calls his wife and two kids in Florida to let them know their husband/father has died and there appears to be no understood reason why.
History:
He was a former Blue Jay player from '85 - '90.
