My god, look at my last chunk of blogs, the mood listing is either 'Happy' or as in this case, 'A.O.K.' (with a few scattered bitchy ones).
That is a very welcome change from the typical 'meh' or whatever else I might have chosen over the passed few months to a year. I'm actually feeling, as the french call it, 'good'.
My shoulder surgery went well. The Dr. found a few bone spurs and a few other things that he could clean up. I'm close to being able to move my arm like a normal human being. I was laying down and put my left arm behind my head... and you're like, "...and the interesting part about that is..." Well, imagine for 1.5 years (at least) you haven't been able to put your arm in that position without sharp stabbing pain. I can almost reach behind me to get stuff!! Then image, I might be able to shower without any pain, and hell... be able to reach my back!! Don't get me wrong, there's still a lot of pain. When you leap from the 3rd step of a staircase then have to comfort your shoulder from the shock, there's still a lot of recovery time left.
Another large aspect of the mental ease has been the regular and close attention of women. Not that there's any "action" happening, but it's good to be able to go out with someone else who isn't married or a desperate male trying to get the ladies attention as well. (I am NOT pointing fingers, so I don't wanna hear any bitching after this blog is posted)
