This has to be one of the most retarded examples of American stupidity that I've ever heard.

One day while listening to Mojo Radio I hear news that in the WWE (WWF) the Canadian wrestlers are now going to be announced as Americans. As well, the wrestlers from France are going to be announced as being from Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

"I says pardon"

Apparently this is being done because there is too much Canadian talent... or at least the Canadian talent is the premiere attraction in the organization and management wants American people to identify with them as Americans rather than Canadian. This way its easier to cheer for them.

Sadly, Americans are so ignorant that they wouldn't notice if one day the wrestler comes out announced as being from "Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada" then the next day as "New York, New York".

As far as the au français wrestlers go... this is being done to make them 'easier to hate'.

Good god.. if that 300 million people mass called the United States had anyone living there with an ounce of talent, we wouldn't have to supply them with all their singers, actors, commedians and wrestlers.

Seriously, what's up with that?
